So far this summer has been pretty bland – my middle daughter and I usually take a couple of weekend trips in May and August, but those didn’t happen (for one it was because the event changed venue/city but we may go back next year, and the other was just because we didn’t have the funds this year). However, my youngest daughter is coming to visit this coming weekend. I haven’t seen her in 2-1/2 years, as she’s moved during that time and had trouble getting time off new jobs plus was short on funds after the cost of moving. We’re going to have fun for the five days she’ll be home!
We are just staying close to home this year.
