Homemade Bird Feeder Tutorial – incorporating Juicy Juice!! #JuicyJuiceCrew

June 30, 2016 By Africa

Disclosure: I am a Juicy Juice Crew member and was compensated for this post, however all thoughts are my own.

The summer is upon us, the kids are out of school and looking for things to do.  While some of us will have the good fortune of a great summer vacation and others will be relying more on a summer ‘stay-cation’ looking for things to do to keep the kids entertained.

As a part of our stay-cation, with an almost 3 year old, we are incorporating fun crafts and activities to keep Gradie entertained.

Living in Minnesota we only get a certain time frame that we can really enjoy the outdoors and soak in the summer warmth.  That is why we do as much as we can outside during the summer months.

Making Juicy Juice part of all of our Summer 'Staycation' Fun!!
Gradie loves hanging out with her cousin Elliot & they both LOVE JUICY JUICE!!

Of course, that also means we need to stay hydrated and what better way to do that then with keeping Juicy Juice on hand at all times.

Our family wanted to share with you a fun craft we did that incorporated our love for Juicy Juice as well as being outside and soaking up all the summer has to offer.

Step 4 – Have an adult cut a square out of the front of the juice bottle & two V shapes into the side for the ‘wings’.

Step 5 – Cut a small slit into the front of the bottle to insert the popsicle stick

Step 7 – Attach painted bottle caps to the front of the bottle as it’s eyes.

Step 8 – Hang your homemade bird feeder and enjoy watching the birds eating with your family.

You can use the markers and additional decorations to personalize your bird feeder as much or as little as you would like.  You can be guaranteed that there won’t be another in the neighborhood as unique as yours!!

How cute! I love the idea of reusing open plastic juice containers to make something, and this bird feeder is adorable! We love Juicy Juice in our house too. 🙂

I remember making these with milk cartons with my mom when I was a kid! They are so fun and you can make anything! My mom would always get us some paper machay to really bring our creatures to life!
