I read an article the other day about co-sleeping with your pets, nearly half of dogs sleep in their owner’s beds. The survey found that 62% of small dogs, 41% of medium-sized dogs and 32% of large dogs sleep with their owners. Jeanna and I are in that 62%! Tanner and Logan get to sleep in bed with us once or twice a week, kind of like a sleepover 🙂
With the new arrival of Baby G, we now sleep in the upstairs bedroom which has a much taller bed frame then the old one. The puppies are getting up there in doggy years, Logan has bad hips and Tanner being so small has always had trouble getting up to the bed so Jeanna and I end up lifting them both up on the bed and down off the bed and up on the bed and down off the bed… at least twice each though the night! The carpet tread is tightly secured and padded. The steps are easily cleaned with a damp cloth and I just vacuum the treads when I vacuum the other carpet. We got the three-step model so the dogs can easily climb up the bed. The stairs are about 21” off the floor; with a 7” rise in each step.

My little girl is spoiled and I let her sleep on the bed. Well It’s hard for her to jump onto the bed because it sits so high with the pillow top and her being so little. I was just thinking about turning my night stand into stairs for her by sitting the draws upside down because she tried to jump up herself and fell off backwards on the floor. I felt so bad and was worried that she might of been seriously hurt. Luckily she wasn’t but now I’m worried it might happen again and she won’t be so lucky and not get hurt. I really don’t want to loose my night stand so these steps would be perfect. She also likes to go everywhere I go including in the car. I found a deluxe car safety harness and a Medium Tagalong Booster Seat from Sovit Products that she should be wearing and sitting into in order to keep her safe too. I’m sure she would love the booster seat because she would be high enough to see out the window. I’m not so sure how she would like the harness but I would feel much better with her in one knowing she would be safe. Again thanks for another great review & giveaway~!
