Lately my son & I have been doing science experiments with solar cells (energy)
Messy ones! I love ones that involve getting your hands dirty! Like making goup and exploring the states of matter.
we once turned a boiled egg into a rubber bouncing ball. Very cool
I like the kind of science experiments that have unexpected results, something that you never thought would happen!
fun ones for kids – easy but little mess yet captures their imaginations and interest
my personal favorite is turning an egg into rubber – 🙂
I like ones that you think is gonna turn out one way, but end up with totally different results.
I like the ones that don’t turn out the way you expect them to.
ones where you use microscope!
My daughter really liked a volcano experiment that we did together a couple weeks ago.
I love the messy Science Experiments!
i like making a working volcano
I did a science experiment with volcano’s with my daughter loved that!
My granddaughters often call for advice on their science projects for school. Everything from photos to actual projects.
A simple volcano is always the best and always fun.
we like doing things with static electricity
Volcanos are always fun, but anything with trial and error to help reasoning is great.
I always loved making volcanoes erupt!
I like all science projects that have some dynamic element or chemical reaction, but I would not recommend magnets and little pieces of magnetized sand or whatever it was. I did that when I was 8 and the stuff wouldn’t come off.
I like doing product comparison experiments. Those were really fun to do as a kid.
I like the messy Science Experiments!
microscope love to watch things move..
I love experimenting with kitchen items…food, baking powder, etc.
Experimenting with different things!
Safe chemical ones, like the big fizz ones! Or the lava lamp with alkaseltzer!
We like snap circuits experiments
An oldie but a goodie….the old vinegar and baking soda volcano!
making a volcanno
I like the stinky ones.
As a middle school science teacher, we really enjoyed mixing the chemicals and watching the reactions!
When I was in school, we once did a science experiment about the bacteria on your hands. We tested the surface on one random student’s hand and within several days, the petri dish was like…UGH. The bacteria colonies that had developed were enough to make me a compulsive hand-washer. Ick. So, that’s a pretty good one.
I like doing science experiments involving chemicals.
mykids are obsessed with temperature, like what happens to coconout oil, butter, honey at different temps!
We like science experiments that are simple to create and fun to do, like the mento’s and soda experiment for example. Our next project is a homemade lava lamp 🙂
My daughter was into forensic chem. So, one interesting experiment was using dead pig parts and putting them in different environments to see how they decomposed. Pretty gross stuff.
I love anything with baking soda and vinegar! We add food coloring to vinegar and use an eye dropper to make colored bubbles on a cookie sheet covered with baking soda. It’s great fun!
Honestly, I like to old fashioned volcano lol
I love anything hands-on and challenging.
When I was in school, I did one on how tweaking the proportions of ingredients affected the outcome of cookies when baked. 😛 A yummy, and easy “A”, that was technically chemistry. 🙂
We love growing things from seed!
My favorite experiment is making a volcano. I love to watch the reaction between the baking soda and the vinegar and if you add some dishwashing liquid you will get a better lava flow.
We love making glowing water (using a black light and tonic water)
I don’t know a lot of science experiments, but I do like ones that involve weather.
I love doing things with stuff we have arond the house with my boys. Like baking soda and vinegar.
I love mentos and diet coke. Thank you
I love chemistry experiments with big explosions!
Messy ones that involve mixing
all of them! I’m a biology teacher 🙂
We all love things that DO things – lighting a bulb with a potato, launching a rocket ship – things that make the kids go …. wow
My son & husband loved when they made a vinegar volcano
I love volcanos.
The volcano is my fave.
i like the volcano science experiment
Vinegar and baking soda.
I love things with balloons and demos at the Great Lakes Science Center. They have a toll that checks your center of gravity.
anything that explodes
anything that can generate alot of excitement 🙂
Anything that bubbles over into a bubbly mess lol!
My kids and I make a Volcano every so often!

My favorite expirememt was a exploding volcano
Since I have a preschooler and a toddler, the simplest experiments are best. Right now my Boog really likes to make “volcanoes”
Experiments using items found in nature.
I like the one where we compared soap, hand santizers and water to kill germs! It was so gross!
exploding volcano
I love the potato experiment that can light a little light bulb, I like experiments like that.
ones where you use microscope
