Vicks Behind the Ear Thermometer Review & Giveaway!! (ends 4/5)

March 28, 2013 By Africa

Vicks Behind the Ear Thermometer

Vicks Behind the Ear Thermometer

If your child feels warm or seems under the weather, it’s probably time to take their temperature. Sounds simple enough — but if you’re new to it, you might have questions or be worried about the accuracy or ‘doing it wrong’!

For most parents, temperature taking can be a daunting task.  Aside from squeamishness around rectal measurements, parents are often worried about the reliability of thermometers and having to wake a sick child for a reading.  I’m excited that the Vicks Behind the Ear Thermometer is now a solution for parents that addresses all these concerns.  The Vicks Behind the Ear Thermometer in a non-invasive alternative to other thermometers featuring Fever Insight; the large color-coded screen displaying green for no fever, yellow with a slightly elevated temperature and red to signal a fever… it’s nearly fool proof only taking one second to read.  Keep in mind no matter what type of thermometer you use, carefully read the instructions first!

I know what you’re thinking… how accurate could this be?  I was impressed with the accuracy of the temperature; after all, it only takes ONE SECOND.  To test the thermometer, I took Blake’s temperature three times a day with the Vicks Behind the Ear Thermometer and digitally under the arm pit and compared these on three different days…. So with about 10 tries the Vicks Behind the Ear Thermometer was only off one time by .5 degrees. I don’t think that’s bad!  And the best part three of those times I took his temperature while he was sleeping and he didn’t wake up!  🙂  With that being said, I WAS SOLD!

The Vicks Behind Ear Thermometer has a suggested retail price of $39.99 – $49.99, is backed by a lifetime warranty, and is available at Rite Aid, Target, Walmart and Walgreen’s; follow this link for a $10 REBATE.  Or purchase it here from Amazon for just $18 plus shipping.

If you are not quite convinced about the latest and greatest in thermometers from Vicks try visiting their homepage to learn more.

Vicks is so confident you will love the Vicks Behind the Ear Thermometer they are generously giving one to one lucky reader, enter for your chance to win using the Rafflecoptor below!
