FUNKY FLUFF – Bamboo 3 in 1 Diaper System & Double Pocket Wet Bag ~ Review & Giveaway!

FUNKY FLUFF – Bamboo 3 in 1 Diaper System & Double Pocket Wet Bag

Funky Fluff Diaper

I was lucky enough to be able to provide a review of the Funky Fluff  Bamboo 3 in 1 cloth diaper system and the double pocket wet bag.  Being that we are brand new to cloth diapers this sure was a good introduction for us with Ms. Elliot.  Just take a look how cute she is in her Funky Black and Silver diaper.

FUNKY FLUFF Fusion – Bamboo 3 in 1 System

As I said we are brand new to the world of cloth diapering but we’re excited to start this journey.  Both for the ability to lessen the impact on the environment (those disposables will be around on this earth a lot longer then any of us), and because in the long run cloth diapering can save you a lot of $$$!!

Funky Fluff offers two kinds of cloth diapers, the Stay Dry 3 in 1 System and the Bamboo 3 in 1 System.  We received and are providing this review for the Bamboo 3 in 1 System.  With both types of diapers been the 3 in 1 System, you are able to use them as a Pocket, All in One, or All in Two.

When I received this diaper I pretty much had no clue how to cloth diaper – I’ve done a lot of research and the Funky Fluff website is a great resource.  Take a look at this YouTube video explaining how to use their 3 in 1 diapers;

What I like about these diapers is that you can use them with your little one from newborn through toddle age, 7-35 lbs.  While Ms. Elliot used this diaper, she is 15 months old, we also set the shell to the small size to see how it would fit on Mr. Blake and it fit perfectly just by adjusting the size with the snaps on the diaper.

These diapers (as with all cloth diapers) require you to wash at least 5 times prior to first use, which we did and I must admit the absorbency was fantastic, and seems to be getting even better with each wash.  Make sure you head over to their website and read all the washing and care instructions to ensure you get the best results from your Funky Fluff diapers.

Each Funky Fluff diaper you order comes with 2 unique soakers – the smaller soaker (which has 2 layers of bamboo blend terry) and the heavy duty, super absorbent soaker (with 4 layers of bamboo blend terry).   Ms. Elliot uses the larger soaker during the day and overnight you can use the large soaker along with the smaller one for extra absorbency.  Both the smaller and larger soakers can be used on the newborn and small settings.

I also want to share all the amazing features of the design of the diaper cover with you, so I used the summarized info below, from the Funky Fluff website;

Design Features:

    • Bamboo 3 in 1 System: Pocket, All in One, All in Two. Use it any way you like it.
    • Unique funky coloured “belt” on each diaper
    • Double row of durable snaps allow separate waist and leg adjustment
    • Cross over snaps give a great newborn fit and also function as a tidy storage option for soiled diapers on the go. Roll it up and snap closed until wash day.
    • Hip snaps help to prevent “wing droop”
    • Stretchy & soft around legs and waist
    • Double gussets (just like in disposables!) provide an additional barrier of protection to prevent spills
    • Pocket opening in the front and back make it easier to get the soaker in and out
    • Trim design in the crotch area gives a perfect fit
    • Waterproof strip at the top edge of the diaper provides additional protection against leaks
    • An outer layer of breathable, waterproof polyurethane laminated polyester (PUL) keeps wetness contained

FUNKY FLUFF Double Pocket Wet Bag

FUNKY FLUFF Double Pocket Wet Bag

We also received the Funky Fluff double pocket wet bag – these are really great, a must have I think, and at the extremely reasonable price of just $10.98 it won’t break the bank.  This bag is great because it has the ability to hold up to 10 diapers and it is able to keep the clean and dirty diapers in separate compartments, both of which are waterproof and closed off with a zipper.  With the snap handle you are able to hook it to your stroller or door knob etc. and to carry it easily.

You can buy these diapers, 2 in 1 wet bag and diaper pail liners from the Funky Fluff website, just click HERE.  The Bamboo 3 in 1 System costs $19.96 and remember it comes with two bamboo soakers.  The Stay Dry 3 in 1 System is $17.97 and also comes with two soakers.   The 2 in 1 wet bag is only $10.98 and the diaper pail liner is $15.97.   Funky Fluff is located in Canada and ships only to Canada and the Continental USA.  Their shipping rates are extremely reasonable and they offer free shipping on most orders over $60.

Also, in addition to checking out everything “Funky” on their website, stop by their Facebook and Twitter pages to make sure you are up to date with everything related to these amazing products – I definitely have.

I am so happy to bring you the opportunity to win the same products I reviewed, the Bamboo 3 in 1 System and the Double Pocket Wet Bag (a $31RV).  All you have to do is enter via the Rafflecopter entry form below.

GOOD LUCK & STAY FUNKY!!

    I think it is a toss up between the Purple/Green diaper and the Grey/Pink diaper. For the wetbag, it would definitely be the pink though!

    I’d probably get black with pink or purple with green diapers, and most likely the black bag. 🙂
