Sleep is a big deal and getting a good nights sleep is really important too. For me, I have to have a comfy mattress, comfy pillow, and perfect temperature. I also need good sheets.     I have insomnia diagnosed by my doctor. I”ve had it for years. I take a prescription medication to help me fall and stay asleep. (I’ve had sleep studies done, I’ve had all the tests, and nothing but medication works..)

    I turn the thermostat down around 9:30 so the house starts cooling by
    the time I go to bed. I don’t have electronics in the bedroom.

    To help me get a good nights sleep, I close the blinds and drapes to keep the room dark. I also try to get to bed at a reasonable time.

    Well I have a lot of trouble sleeping. I try to use essential oils and melatonin right now. I am willing to try anything!

    It always helps me to have a fan on, but more importantly curling up with my tiny kitty and dear husband always puts my mind at ease, usually producing a comfortable and sound sleep.

    I try to get lots of bright light exposure during the day. Natural sunlight or bright light during the day helps keep your circadian rhythm healthy. This improves daytime energy, as well as nighttime sleep quality and duration

    We keep a fan blowing over us all year. When we travel, we even take a pair of small fam=ns to put on bedside tables. If=t certainly helps us!

    I have a neurologic disorder & the meds I have to take to keep it tolerable make me drowsy so I take them right before bedtime & always get a good night’s sleep. However, my eyes pop open at 4am without fail!

    I am in need of hip replacement surgery and I don’t sleep well to say the least. I put a pillow between my knees and that seems to help me sleep better.

    I usually drink some Tea. There’s also this spray from Bath and Body Works that I spray on my blankets and pillows. It smells heavenly and relaxing, and usually helps me sleep.

    In order to get a good night’s sleep we use “blackout” drapes in the bedroom (i.e. totally dark room) & keep the room temp on the cool side.

    I have a REALLY hard time falling asleep….sometimes I take Melatonin, drink “sleepytime tea”, read,pray….you name it…nothing really works all the time. Sigh. Thanks and God Bless!

    I go to sleep in shorts and a tank top to make sure I stay cool and make sure I have clean bedding on and my pillows are fluffed. That helps me get a good night sleep.

    I don’t think that I do anything special. I just go to bed when I’m tired. Sometimes that means that I don’t get much sleep, but I’m ok with that.
