Our holiday tradition is to travel. We’re an ex-pat family, a trailing household, and we like to take the opportunity to go out and see something new for Christmas each year. We chose something close to where we are stationed (usually the next country over) and go on an adventure. The key rule is though, that we are ALWAYS home in time for Christmas eve. We always bring home some kind of ornament or gift as a souvenir for under the tree.
