Before I had a child I always said that when I had one they would eat EVERYTHING. I’d raise my child to be the greatest eater, or so I thought.
Now that we are almost 5 years into this journey of raising a child I realize a lot of what I thought I knew about having a child is far from the truth. Such as the belief I’ll have a great eater. Gradie gives us more than a few challenges when it comes to eating well and if she had her way she would eat mac & cheese for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
This is why I was excited to hear that Juicy Juice has partnered with Food Network star and dad, Chef Jeff Mauro, on the Flavorful Fun campaign to help parents introduce kids to new flavors.
Chef Jeff is offering us all great tips to help encourage our little ones to try new foods. Along with fun and new ways to get them into the kitchen to help out with making the food. Check out this YouTube video where Chef Jeff shares useful tips to try with your kids;
In our home the greatest success in trying new things is when Gradie is involved in the food making process. Making her our little helper has definitely made a difference in her willingness to try new things, the things SHE has made.
I highly recommend you head over to the Juicy Juice Flavorful Fun website to see the other great tips offered by Chef Jeff as well as to find new and easy to make recipes I am sure your kids will WANT to try, like the Kiwi Strawberry Lemon Shake Up!
Be sure to follow Juicy Juice via their social media outlets; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest.
