You have always heard that reading with your children is one of the most important things you can do in their early years of development. It helps them grow their vocabulary, foster their imagination, and many more benefits. Stories from Baxter’s Corner do this and more. They have stories with a valuable lesson with amazing illustrations. Plus each story has wall art and a plush animal that goes with the story so you can bring it to life!
About Baxter’s Corner:
When illustrator Mary Ellen Stottmann started creating furry, fun and friendly animal artwork for her grandson, Baxter, some years ago, she didn’t realize that she was beginning a long and rewarding journey into the world of publishing and early childhood development.
The six books that are part of Baxter’s Corner main series each feature a specific behavioral theme such as respect, anti-bullying, compassion, perseverance and overcoming obstacles. The books focus on good choices to make in a certain situation and use the endearing animal characters to make the point. The goal is to provide both young readers, and the caregivers who may be reading to the child, strong examples of how to best approach some of the struggles that children face in today’s world, such as having a parent in prison (Ally Alone).
The books are available at Louisville area gift shops: Kentucky Science Center and 3 gift sets are available at The Frazier Museum. As well as online at www.BaxtersCorner.com. Each book also has its own set of accessories including plush toys and room decorations.
There are several sets available but today we are going to giveaway the Ellema The Elephant set.
Enter to win the Baxter’s Corner – Ellema the Elephant Book “Ellema Sneezes”, Canvas Wall Art & Melissa & Doug Plush (ARV: $155)
