Our family has shared our love of The Wishing Tree Play Cafe with you many times. It is hands down our favorite indoor play area in the Twin Cities. If you need a refresher be sure to head over to my post; The Wishing Tree Play Cafe – a welcome addition to the Twin Cities indoor playground scene!!
Today I get to share with you another reason to LOVE The Wishing Tree Play Cafe – Birthday Parties for the kids.
In full disclosure we received Gradie’s birthday party in exchange for this post, however, all opinions below are entirely my our and we only share with our readers attractions we personally visit.
For Gradie’s 4th birthday party we knew we’d be in the middle of packing up our home as we prepared to move, so having a party at our home wasn’t going to happen. Next I thought about reaching out to the lovely owners of The Wishing Tree to discuss the process for hosting a birthday party.
I am glad to report that there are different options for your kids party and I am confident you’ll find a match that will make your child’s dreams come true.

Planning your child’s birthday party at Wishing Tree Play Cafe
We met with the staff of The Wishing Tree a few weeks prior to Gradie’s birthday party to discuss specifics. Covering what theme we wanted, what food options we’d pick and what/if any add on’s we wanted to include. We got to plan a private birthday party for Gradie where her and up to 24 of her closest friends could take over Wishing Tree for 2 hours.
Luckily we had it pretty easy as Gradie wanted a PINK birthday party – simple, relatively plain so long as it was PINK! We discussed how we could bring in some decorations if we had specific items to include, but we were guaranteed that Wishing Tree would provide the decorations we would need.
When we arrived we walked into the most perfect PINK birthday party we could have ever expected and the smile on my daughters face was priceless and the day was only just beginning.
As I said, we could invite up to 24 of Gradie’s friends to play and celebrate her birthday, along with their adults. The party includes 25 cupcakes, that match the theme of your child’s party, organic juice boxes, 1 air-pot of coffee, and 2 appetizer platters.
You are able to add in more platters, at varying prices, as needed for your number of guests. Also, the coffee bar is available to meet all your guests caffeine needs.
PLUS, each of your child’s friends receive a Thank-You note that includes a free pass for the child to come play again.
The absolute best feature of a birthday party at the Wishing Tree, in my opinion, is that you will have personal party concierge to attend to you and your guests. That includes setting up prior to your arrival, helping throughout the party, and clean up during and after the party.
I have a confession – it was roughly a year after Gradie’s last party before we got all her birthday party decorations down in our home. Which is why we loved having someone else responsible for this aspect of her party.
It was such a huge relief not having to worry about anything for Gradie’s party, literally all we had to do was show up and hang out with our friends and family.
I cannot recommend The Wishing Tree Play Cafe for your child’s birthday party enough. It truly takes the stress out of the entire process and made her 4th birthday that much more memorable.
