We received tickets from Cedar Fair in partnership with Blog Meets Brand to attend opening day at Valleyfair. All opinions below are my own, and I only share experiences with my readers I would enjoy with my own family.
We got to experience Valleyfair a few times last year and we’re excited to partner with Cedar Fair again this year, sharing all about our latest adventures, our park ‘firsts’ and of course about their new attractions in 2017!!
Last year we spoke about wanting to make our trips to Valleyfair a summer tradition and it was fun to be able to share the fun and memories on our first trip in 2017 with my niece Elliot and sister-in-law Danielle.
We had kept our trip a surprise from both Gradie and Elliot, they didn’t know where we were off to until we were in the car. This was Elliot’s very first trip to Valleyfair and she was so excited for a big adventure with her cousin and mom.
We headed right to Planet Snoopy – an area full of rides and activities for younger kids, just like Gradie and Elliot. If your children are younger and you worry there won’t be a lot for them to do I am happy to tell you that there are so many rides, a play area and activities for your younger kids it’ll be tough to fit everything in before nap time/they fall asleep.
Another ‘first’ for this trip was that Gradie is now over the 36″ mark – WHEN did she get this big? As you can see she was excited to be ‘big’ and able to ride on more rides.
As you can see we had an absolute blast during opening day and you can too! I wanted to she with you what’s NEW at Valleyfair this summer. The North Star is the brand new ride in 2017 and it is the only ride like it in the upper Midwest.
You’ll spin, and then you’ll spin and you’ll do it 20 stories or 230 foot above above the ground. 32 side-by-side seats are suspended by chains and you will spin around at 40mph. Sounds LOVELY!!
Let’s talk SEASON PASSES for just a second. You can purchase a Gold Pass which includes Unlimited Visits including Soak City Waterpark and ValleySCARE, plus FREE Parking. Be sure to purchase before May 30th and save $12/pass.
