If your child is anything like mine, they love watching shows and learning on apps on their phones and tablets. Gradie also loves having her ‘speakers’ on when she does so. By speakers I mean headphones and I am so excited to share with you all everything there is to know about the Puro Sound Labs children’s (and they have adult too) headphones.
Those summer road trips are just around the corner and these BT2200 Studio Grade Children’s Bluetooth Headphones will save your sanity, especially if you have more than one child, and you’ll rest easy knowing they’re of the highest quality doing no harm to their sensitive ears.
I knew that Noise-induced hearing loss was an issue, but I didn’t realize just how much of an issue until I read more about it on the Puro Sound Labs website.
In America one in five teens suffers from some form of hearing loss, a 31% increase since the mid-90s. This makes sense – our children are using music players with headphones so much more as technology has developed over the past couple decades. Unfortunately – the headphones our kids are using are not always very kind to their sensitive and developing ears.
That is, until now – this is where Puro Sound Labs have stepped up to create the world’s only studio-grade Bluetooth headphone that puts the safety of your ears first. With a patent-pending volume-limiting and volume-monitoring mechanism they’re ensuring you and your family will safely be able to enjoy your music well into the future.
Plus you will look great while sporting a pair of these Puro Sound Labs headphones, like Gradie is.
Below are some technical specs of these headphones;
- Volume limiting: 85 dBA sound Limit
- Ambient noise reduction: 82% of noise
- Wireless: Bluetooth® 4.0 wireless headphones
- Wireless range: Up to 30 feet from Bluetooth® source
- Battery life: 18 hours playback; 200 hours standby
- Battery type: Lithium ion rechargeable
- Drivers: 40 mm custom dynamic drivers
- Dynamic range: 20Hz – 20kHz with <1% total harmonic distortion
Of course the noise cancelling is a plus – just imagine the peace and quiet on that road trip when your kids aren’t bickering with one another the entire time. Instead they’re watching a movie, or playing a game, etc. Can you imagine just one road trip without the “Are we there yet?” question.
The headphones are Bluetooth® 4.0 wireless headphones BUT if you should forget to charge them, or if you have a 24 plus hour trip to South Africa (like we did last year) and the battery runs out, you are also able to connect them with a cord to your child’s phone or tablet.
I really like this feature! It is also neat if the product your child is using is not Bluetooth compatible.
Puro Sound Labs proudly stands by their claims that their BT2200 headphones have the most advanced noise limiting solution on the market. In addition, their headphones are the best sounding kid’s headphones available.
After having Gradie’s headphones for a couple weeks I have to agree with both statements. I love the how easy they are to use. Gradie is able to tell which ear to put her headphones onto with the L and R inside each speaker. She knows which cord is to charge them and which is to get them plugged in if she can’t utilize Bluetooth.
Of course the volume up and down buttons are easy to follow and Gradie will never give them back to us after use without ensuring she’s slid the on/off power to OFF when she’s done.
Durable – can I tell you how durable they are? For sure, we gave them to a 3 year old who has truly put them through a thorough test!! She seems to think she needs to put them on her tummy, which surely stretches them out, but they simply bounce back. They are toddler tested and APPROVED!!
If you need any more convincing that these headphones are right for your child (and you), then be sure to check out the super nifty carrying case they come in. The headphones and all necessary cords fit in it, and we love it.

I love these and would love to have them for our three year old daughter! She would love the purple like Gracie has! I really appreciate all they do to protect kids’ ears. I didn’t realize it was such a huge problem either.

These sound awesome. Both my twin girls use earbuds and worry me with the sound being too loud. I really like how these have a volume limit. I also like the wireless Bluetooth capability. I would choose pink.

I like that they reduce the noise by a significant percentage and that they are not ear buds but fit over the whole ear.

These headphones sound awesome! I love that you can use them via Bluetooth but they still include a wire to plug in. They look super comfy too, and of course the sound limiting is a must with children. I am also a fan of the colors, they are seriously gorgeous headphones!
