This is a sponsored post for Pillsbury on behalf of Acorn Influence. As always, all opinion all my own.
Now that the temperatures are getting warmer we start having more outdoor activities planned, little league, soccer practice, baseball leagues and the list goes on. Along with busier schedules comes less time to prepare food for our kids – or should I say food our kids will actually eat, with a limited time to prepare them.
Gradie is almost four now, four going on 24! She’s absolutely amazing (of course) but having just survived the ‘threeager’ year where eating anything other than mac & cheese and chocolate is next to impossible, we’re looking out for ways to make easy, on the go, food and snacks – that she’ll actually eat.
This is where we have introduced Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls as a fun, easy to make, breakfast option. Gradie has also informed us that these are also one of her favorite snack options too. Here in Minnesota we love our food on a stick and we’ve chosen to elaborate on this by creating these
‘On The Go Cinnamon Rolls – ON A STICK!’
Couldn’t be easier to make. Simply take the Cinnamon Rolls, trying not to get a fright when they ‘pop’ open, and place them on a baking tray/cookie sheet.
After baking them on 375 degrees for 15 minutes you’ll have golden delicious Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls.
We let them cool down, then placed each roll on a stick. You can use any version you might have available and I’ll be on the look out for fun, hopefully reusable sticks to use in the future.
Once you’ve placed the Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls on the stick you can choose to eat them just like that – the point being that they are SIMPLE to make. Gradie absolutely loves to dip-dip-dip her food, so giving her the option to dip her rolls in the icing adds to the excitement of her food on a stick.
Be sure to keep an eye on your child while they’re eating, or you’ll find them dipping their finger directly into the icing too!! Of course, I cannot blame her – I love to do this too!
Depending on the time of year, you can also create fun, decorated/seasonal, cinnamon rolls. Be it Easter candy attached to the roll with the icing, or other festive decorations. Anything to get out kids to eat them is a WIN in my book. Remember, sprinkles also make everything better, and adding some sprinkles to the icing can be a fun twist too.
It’s that easy – everyone in the family will love this fun spin on something we already love. Plus, it’ll help when you’re on the go this spring and summer, get the Cinnamon Rolls baked up, get them onto a stick and they’re the perfect food for the road as you head out to get to that baseball tournament on time.
Now – head to your local Walmart and pick up your supply of Pillsbury products. They’re EASY to make, they’re delicious and the entire family will love them and because they’re so easy to whip-up, you’ll have more time to spend with family making memories this summer.
Go get your Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls today – the family will love it, I know mine do!!

I wish we can also do these cinnamon rolls. I’m obsessed with the aroma and taste of cinnamon these days. Fluffy and hot ones are my best bet.

What a fun idea! Our three year old daughter is in love with lollipops, so anything on a stick is a lollipop in our house. I’m always trying to get her to eat breakfast and I know she’d gobble these up!
