My boys have never liked having to sit to do their school work. However, you give them a toy that teaches them and they will be happy to learn. I think it is because they don’t even realize how much they are learning. Math can be so hard to teach a child without using some sort of visual to help them SEE math used. My daughter struggles a little bit with reading. She is picking up addition and subtraction pretty well though!
Yes, my oldest grandson struggles with math and counting quickly. It takes him longer to think about it than my other grandson.
It would probably be writing especially as they get older and have to write more essay style pieces.
