I can’t be the only parent (or grandparent) out there that is sick and tired of having to step over and dodge the kids toys on the floor. There is nothing worse then standing on them too – if it’s not extremely painful, you break them and we all know what happens if their toys get broken….
Now I am really excited to share with you that Oribel is reinventing play time – with Vertiplay. No more picking up toys constantly, no more stepping on them, and you get to brighten up your home with fun, whimsical toys that double as fun room decor when attached to the wall.
We received the Vertiplay Crroaky door knocker and Tree Top Adventure – a game of constant action to test out and share our thoughts with our readers.
Gradie just loves the Crroaky Door Knocker. She insisted we put it on her door and she loves making us knock before we enter her room. She loves asking, “Who’s there” and deciding if we can come in or not (but she always allows us to enter).
Of course the emphasis of the door knocker is teach kids how to knock before entering a room – but Gradie has definitely learned the concept. She has also worked on making music with the door knocker, which is also helping her work on her motor skills.
With the special adhesive on the sticker you are able to firmly attach it to the door or wall, as well as peeling it off and resticking it – many times. So far the ‘sticky’ hasn’t stopped working and lately she is enjoying moving her door knocker to our room door too. Next I am sure she’ll ask to put it on our front door.
At just $9.90 you will be able to get one for each door in your home – plus you can choose from Crroaky, Spikeyy (porcupine), or Roarry (lion).
Next we got to work testing out Oribel’s Vertiplay Tree Top Adventure – A Game Of Constant Action.
I cannot tell you how long we’ve played with this toy, how many hours we’ve made up stories of the tree, the creatures who live in it and watched Mr. Caterpillar race down from the top of the tree to the bottom. Gradie squeals with joy as she watches Mr. Catepillar race down. In turn she is learning about gravity, cause & effect relationships and again working on her fine motor skills.
What I love about this is that she doesn’t even realize all these things are happening. She is just playing. I am also happy to report that even after hours of playing and getting stuck to the wall, peeled off, and re-stuck this tree top adventure is still in great shape and ready for many more hours of play.
Looking closely you can see that as Mr. Caterpillar whizzes down the tree he slides through the mushroom tower, knocks against the swing (this is Gradie’s favorite part), and races over a rickety slide and lastly lands at the bottom, crashing into an acorn.

I love this concept! Just today I had a run-in with a tiny shopkin on the floor and my foot and my foot did not win. I can’t handle all the toys on the floor! This is such a great way to alleviate even a little bit of that problem.

That’s a clever invention to have the toys on the wall.

My grandchildren would LOVE the door knocker. I’ve been seeing some tracks that go on walls, etc. Great idea.

I’ve always loved wall toys for the kids. Especially as a mom of two boys, the floor in every room of the house is always covered with toys, this would be awesome!

I love this idea! I like that it’s neat but I also like that it’s different from anything that we have to play with currently.
