It’s the most festive of seasons – and I absolutely love it!!
I have made this super fun twist on a classic holiday treat and I believe it is going to be a great treat for your family and definitely worthy as some ‘reindeer food’ on Christmas eve.
Grape-Nuts Holiday Mix Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 box Grape-Nuts
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/3 cup butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 cups pretzel pieces
- 2 cups Christmas M&M’s
Directions:
- Pour Grape-Nuts cereal into a large bowl . Set aside.
- In another bowl combine the peanut butter, chocolate chips and butter. Melt on high heat in microwave for 1 minute. Stir and heat another 30 seconds.
- Once melted pour the mixture over the cereal and mix well.
- Take a gallon sized bag pour in the 2 cups of powered sugar, then add the chocolate Grape-Nuts mixture. Seal bag tightly and shake to mix.
- Pour Grape-Nuts holiday mix into a bowl, add the pretzels and m&m’s. One more time mix everything well and serve, your family and friends will love it!!

This sounds tasty! My mom was just telling me about when she was a young girl she insisted my grandparents buy her like a pound or two pound bag of plain grape nuts. She could only eat like 3/4 of the bag before she just couldn’t eat anymore of them. She should have done something like this.
