As you know we recently traveled back to South Africa for my mom’s 70th birthday party. I am sure you can imagine travelling that far, with a toddler, for 3.5 weeks, requires a lot of planning and preparation.

I have traveled back and forth to South Africa many times in the past 17 years and this was the first time I made the trip with such an amazingly LIGHT suitcase. Really I cannot stress enough how light this case is. Travelling with a toddler you realize how much this helps out, having that extra hand to corral them and keep them where they’re supposed to be is key, so anything that helps the process is a winner in my eyes.
As with all America Tourister bags, the features don’t end there. Let’s not forget the internal tie down straps to keep your stuff snug and in place. Plus the zippered compartments in the lid make it easy to keep your toiletries etc separate from your clothing, or any other items you’d prefer be separated.

Luggage has changed so much over the years. Then again, more people – including entire families – travel more these days. I had the heavy, hard-sided Samsonite suitcases when I was in high school. They just were so hard to carry around. I love the newer, soft-sided suitcases – especially the ones with wheels. What a godsend they are! One of my daughters and I take a number of weekend trips every year, plus we have to carry her art and books that she sells at the events we’re traveling to. These sound great, and I really love the styles and colors!

I know how the weight of the luggage will press on you. I always tried to find a Light Suitcase when I started traveling. I don’t travel any more or I would look at this one.
I like this suitcase it’s from Poly/Nylon very durable material. I would like to get it for my granddaughter.
This has some great features including the tie down straps and starting out with a light weight is a big plus.

This sounds like an amazing suitcase! I love all of the pockets, it is very roomy! I think my favorite feature is all of the bright colors that it is offered in though, it would be so easy to spot during luggage pickup! 🙂

The spin wheels on the American Tourister luggage is the best feature of all, followed by the bright colors! Easy to wheel and easy to recognize in a crowd of black bags!
