The K’NEX STEM Explorations Swing Ride Building Set is designed to encourage STEM learning in children. STEM is a curriculum that focuses on science, technology, engineering, and math.
This K’NEX project allows kids to build a working swing ride like you see at carnivals and fairs. In addition, children can build 2 additional rides: a Ferris wheel and a boom ride.
Step by step instructions are provided so kids can easily create a functional working swing ride with ease. Children can work on the projects alone or with a team of two to three other kids, which teaches the children all about teamwork. To learn more, read April’s review.

    I would donate it to my local Christmas Toy Drive. I try to give several gifts of varying values (major gift, smaller gifts, stocking stuffers etc) and this would be a really special one!

    Eventually it will be for my grandson, but for now, it’s for my daughter. I remember getting them KNex when they were younger and their father wouldn’t even let them have the time to play with it. They used to sneak to play with it when he wasn’t around.
