    My favorite holiday treat is something my mother-in-law makes from Spain. It is almost like french toast but she makes it with wine. One batch with red and one batch with white then she sprinkles coarse sugar on it. It is served cold and I LOVE it.

    I love cookies for the holidays – in addition to my “secret” recipe chocolate chip cookies (an inside joke – I use the Tollhouse recipe on the Nestle chips bag), I think my next favorite is thumbprint cookies.
