Yesterday I posted about my visit to the Best Buy Tech Home – be sure to read it HERE. In case you forgot, or need a refresher, the Best Buy Tech Home is literally a model of a home hooked up with all the latest, and greatest, connected home technology Best Buy has to offer.
Located at the Mall of America from August 22 through September 17, you can tour the home, play with, test out and otherwise get all your Tech Home questions answered by the Best Buy Blue Shirts or Geek Squad Agent. Best Buy carries all of the latest products in the connected home market. Add to that the knowledge the Blue Shirts/Geek Squad Agents have and you’ll leave knowing what all your home is missing and just how ‘techy’ it can become.
While I shared with you yesterday, two products I am going to be looking to put into my own home in the very near future, I also want to share with you what I learned about the NETGEAR® Orbi™ Whole Home Wi-Fi System. Don’t worry, when I first saw it I was like; “HUH??” Then I asked a Best Buy Blue Shirt what exactly it was and why I would want it or need it for my home.
NETGEAR Orbi Whole Home Wi-Fi System
They explained to me that when I invested in the NETGEAR Orbi Whole Home Wi-Fi System slow internet in my home, or lack of signal in the basement when further away from my router, would be a thing of the past. With the Orbi you can cover up to 4,000 square feet of your home (my home isn’t near that big – so I’ll be covered), ensuring strong Wi-Fi signals and keeps your internet at the speed it should be.
Best part – it doesn’t matter how many devices you connect to the NETGEAR Orbi. For example, in our home we have my personal laptop, my work laptop, my daughter’s tablet, my wife’s phone, my phone, my work phone, all connected to our Wi-Fi, and now we won’t have to worry about poor signals and slower speeds. We all know what happens when your toddler’s YouTube video doesn’t load fast, it is as if that spinner buffer icon is enough to destroy the day when you’re three.
For those of you local to the Mall of America, head to the Best Buy Tech Home to get a hands on experience with all of the amazing products they have available, including of course, the NETGEAR Orbi Whole Home Wi-Fi System. Also be sure to check out the amazing sweepstakes currently running – more details below.
If you’re not local to Minneapolis and can’t visit the Best Buy Tech Home to test it out, be sure to visit your local Best Buy or click HERE to head to the NETGEAR® Orbi™ Whole Home Wi-Fi System page on Best Buy’s website to learn more and of course to get one pre-ordered for your home (they are available September 23, 2016).
