This conversation is brought to you by Fiber One and Acorn Influence. However, all opinions are my own & I only share products I use in my home.
I am a working mom, I work full time outside of the home, am mom to a toddler and in my ‘spare time’ (if that exists), I blog. I love doing all of these things and work my best to spread my time in the best possible ways to ensure I am doing all to the best of my abilities!
However, as often happens with moms, I sometimes neglect myself. We’re so busy making sure that everything else is going smoothly we forget to put our needs first occasionally.
This was often the case with me when it came to snacking. I sit at a desk all day long and far too often I would make poor snacking decisions. Like around 2 or 3pm, when you just need a little pick me up. I’d often head to the vending machine and make a wonderfully BAD decision.
That is until I found Fiber One Bars at Costco. I, like most Americans, don’t get enough fiber so when I saw Fiber One Bars I thought I would give them a try. I will admit that I was hesitant, I mean, how can something that is only 90/140 calories per bar, has a good amount of fiber, and limited sugar actually taste good?
I am happy to report my hesitation was quickly put to rest when I tried my first Fiber One Bar – WOW!!
Exciting news is that Fiber One Bars are now made with 25% less sugar than before. They’re still delicious and available in so many amazing flavors, two of my favorites are Oats & Chocolate Chewy Bars and Lemon Bars. Of course, the fact that they have no artificial colors or flavors draws me to them as I am working on getting those ‘icky’ things out of my diet.
Now when I have a craving for a snack while sitting at my desk or after a workout/running around after a toddler, I am making better for me decisions, grabbing a Fiber One Bar, not a candy bar or bag of chips.
But the best part is that they taste DELICIOUS – so delicious they should have another name. A name like ‘Saving the Waist Line; 1 Snack at a time!‘ I am sure there are many other names that you could think of, watch this video for inspiration;

Cannot think of another name they sound yummy just as they are. I am for anything that is kind to the wasteland. It really sounds delicious. Going to stock up on fiber 1 bars this afternoon.

I eat the chocolate fudge brownie ones a lot! I keep them in the refrigerator. They really do satisfy my chocolate cravings with less calories. It’s a win – win to me!
