We are about a month away from a 24 hour plane trip from Minneapolis, Minnesota to Johannesburg, South Africa. As we’re getting closer to leaving, working on preparation, getting checklists completed and brainstorming ways to keep an active 3 year old busy for that long.
This is where I believe that Kidz Gear has stepped in to save the day! You see Gradie has her favorite shows, and she’s only now getting into sitting and watching for a period of time, so we’re hopeful that she’ll do a bit of this on the plane.
We were fortunate enough to receive the Kidz Gear Bluetooth™ Wireless Stereo Headphones for Gradie to test and take with us on our trip.
As you can see in the photos Gradie loves her headphones and I am excited to share with you why exactly it is we, her mom’s, love them too!
The biggest feature that has us in love is the fact that the Kidz Gear Wireless Headphones are completely FREE of wires and synching them with your phone/tablet is a breeze. All you have to do is hold down the play button for a couple seconds and they will be viewable to your device. Then you simply pair the devices and they’ll work with one another.
As an added benefit you have the ability to use the included audio interconnection cable to make them wired headphones should the device your child is using not be Bluetooth compatible.
They’re easy to use, my 3 year old knows how to turn them on, and now that they’re paired with her tablet they connect up and she is able to watch her favorite shows and play her apps. She hasn’t yet mastered the art of adjusting the volume (pictured above), but we set the volume at a level that is safe for her ears and she is good with that.
We have tested them out on car trips and it’s like we don’t even have a child in the car, she is so content, which is a huge thing for those kids who are not great travelers. Also for those kids who have to sit in a confined plane for 24 hours!!

These would be great for my toddler daughter! This is the same brand of headphones our library uses and they really fit her well. The wireless feature makes them that much more perfect.
