Tanner and Logan aren’t getting any younger, they’re now 12 and 11 years old. That’s like a LOT of dog years. They have a lot of dog beds spread out both upstairs and downstairs. Allowing them to be able to lay down, rest and escape a very active toddler.
Unfortunately, along with their age, and Tanner now blind, they have their fair share of mishaps which results their beds needing to be repeatedly washed. A lot of dog beds don’t handle the washer very well, so we were going through more than our share of dog beds. That is until we learned about Molly Mutt.
Molly Mutt is a unique concept that comes as a dog duvet. A duvet that you stuff with you old clothes, bedding, and other items that would have arrived in the landfill. Now they’re been used to make your dog comfortable and happy because they smell like YOU, his/her very best friend. These beds are extremely durable and completely washable (they arrive preshrunk).
We received the Lion’s Roar Duvet and we love how the stuff sack allows you to get your old bedding, clothing etc shaped just as you’ll need it to make the most comfortable bed ‘mattress’ for your fur baby.
In addition to the duvet you can order the Stuff Sack to organize the inside of your duvet. What I love about this is that you are able to then take your stuff sack out of the duvet cover and throw the stuff sack and its contents directly into the washer.

This is the perfect solution for our pups who have the occasional accident, like my two dogs do, as they’re not as young as they used to be – a big reason we have gone through as many dog beds as we already have.
Molly Mutt beds range in size from petite (under 15lbs), Small (15 – 30 lbs), med/large (30-70lbs) and huge (over 70lbs).
What I have pictured below is the med/large size. Tanner and Logan will share as they really do nothing separate from one another.
