For their fifth fully-animated feature-film collaboration, Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures present The Secret Life of Pets, a comedy about the lives our pets lead after we leave for work or school each day.

Comedy superstars Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet and Kevin Hart make their animated feature-film debuts in The Secret Life of Pets, which co-stars Jenny Slate, Ellie Kemper, Lake Bell, Dana Carvey, Hannibal Buress, Bobby Moynihan, Steve Coogan and Albert Brooks.  Illumination founder and CEO Chris Meledandri and his longtime collaborator Janet Healy produce the film directed by Chris Renaud (Despicable Me, Despicable Me 2), co-directed by Yarrow Cheney and written by Cinco Paul & Ken Daurio and Brian Lynch.

    I’ve seen the trailer but don’t know their names. For me, my favorite from what I’ve seen is a toss-up between the Dachshund and the dog with the wheelchair. I have a camera that lets me see what MY furbabies are doing and unfortunately, most of what they do is just sleep all day. LOL!

    Argh, why’d you ask that? I have cats, so I have to say Chloe, but I had a cat named Gidget, and darn it I just LOVE pugs (even though I’m not a dog person) so… Although as a lover of heavy metal music there’s something to be said about Leonard too.

    I haven’t seen the movie yet so I don’t know that character’s names. But I do always root for the under”dog” so I would have to say the weiner dog in the wheel harness.

    After watching all the trailers, I would have to say my favorite so far is Snowball (Kevin Hart)! He is so cute, but looks can be deceiving. lol

    Chloe reminds me of my cat Bailey. (Although he would NEVER knock away cat food – he DOES however, knock away my paperwork in that same manner (He’s obviously telling me that he needs attention, and the papers are apparently in the way.) Anyway, Chloe is my favorite.
