I didn’t know how many options we have for peanut butter. Part of that is because I am not a big peanut butter eater I haven’t had a real need to look into the variety that is available. However, between Jeanna and Gradie I am not sure who eats more peanut butter?
Thankfully, we were approached to try out the New Zealand’s Pic’s Peanut Butter. I am pretty sure Jeanna would have rather mad at me had I not accepted, and she’d have told Gradie all about it too.
New Zealand’s #1 selling peanut butter brand, Pic’s Peanut Butter, announces its launch in the United States!!
I know what you’re thinking – WHY would we get peanut butter from New Zealand when there is so much freely available to us here in the USA. Prior to actually eating Pic’s Peanut Butter I likely would have said the same thing, but now I’m a convert, our whole family is, we LOVE this New Zealand peanut butter.
Our reason is – it’s delicious!! The technical reason is Hi-oleic nuts (which were actually developed in the US) however, they cannot be grown here.
It’s something to do with cross pollination with ordinary peanuts that makes them revert within a season. The trick is to declare your whole country Hi-oleic, which is what Australia (and Argentina) has done. So, that’s why you won’t find any American peanut butter quite like Pic’s.
No matter the reason – this peanut butter is a winner! All natural, no icky stuff included, is gluten and sugar-free and is made with no additives and just a touch of Kiwi salt (in the salted varieties.) Pic’s Peanut Butter is available in a variety of types and sizes, be sure to head over to their website to see them all.
Also, I am happy to let you know you can now purchase Pic’s Peanut Butter online and via Amazon and we encourage you to give it a try – I am certain you won’t be disappointed. Also, be sure to let your local grocer that you NEED to see Pic’s on their shelves.
Be sure to head over to this delicious Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie Recipe I posted, made with Pic’s Peanut Butter!! While you’re online be sure to follow Pic’s Peanut Butter via their social media outlets too; Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram & Twitter.
