The people spoke and Merrick listened!!  Merrick Classic Dog Food has received a refresh that has taken into consideration the concerns of dog owners everywhere.  We want ingredients for our dogs that are natural, we don’t want fillers or other ingredients we can’t pronounce, and I am glad to report that Merrick Classic Dog Food line has really stepped up.

We all know that Merrick has provided our dogs quality nutrition that is natural and provides them a balance of whole grains, protein, whole grains and fruits and vegetables.  However, now that Merrick has refreshed their classic line it is now easier for your fur baby to digest and is more palatable.  After all your dog is the Best Dog Ever – and Merrick wants to help you provide the best for them!!

I’ve spoken to what we already know about Merrick Dog Food, now to speak to what’s new in 2016.  Merrick has improved their recipes to include a blend of ancient grains, such as quinoa which is a rich protein source.  Chia seeds too have been added, increasing protein, fiber and Omega 3 levels and all of their recipes are now potato free.

Possibly one of the best features of Merrick Dog Food is that all of their recipes are cooked in the United States, in their own kitchens, not off-shored and prepared in China or some other country with limited controls and regulations over the quality of food they produce.

Tanner and Logan weigh only nine pounds each so we naturally went for the Merrick Classic Dog Food Small Breed Recipe – it’s perfect for them and I especially love the smaller kibble pieces.
