Statement from Tommee Tippee regarding Sippee Cup Cleaning Concerns!
As you know I am a ‘Tommee Mommee’ and as such I share with you Tommee Tippee’s line of products. Recently Tommee Tippee has become aware of concerns regarding the ability to completely clean the Tommee Tippee valves used in their one-piece sippee range of cups.
I stand behind all I have said regarding Tommee Tippee’s line of sippee cups. We have used, and continue to use, our one-piece Tommee Tippee sippee cups daily and we continue to recommend them as great and definitely our go to when we need to use a sippee cup.
I am happy to be able to share with you that Tommee Tippee has released the following statement, and resolution, for your concerns regarding the Tommee Tippee valve used in their sippee cups. I encourage you to read on to learn more, including a way to receive a new, clear valve (pictured below), or a different cup style.
Thank you for your patience with us. First we’d like to assure you that child health and well being is at the heart of everything we do, and we’re taking the current concerns around our Sippee cups very seriously.
We sell millions of Sippee cups globally but we know from recent social media posts, that some people have had problems cleaning the valve. For this we sincerely apologize and we are actively following up on any concerns raised. We’re sorry if we haven’t managed to speak to you yet but due to high demand it may take us some time to get to your post. For a swifter response please call us using the contact details below.
We want everyone to be happy with our products and we always want to exceed expectations. We’ve therefore listened to our customers, and will be launching a new Sippee cup in the next few months.
The new cup will have a two piece valve that can be used with different types of liquid, and is easier to clean.
In the meantime, we are making the transparent, see-through valves shown here immediately available to parents that have concerns. The see-through valve will enable parents to see inside, and give you confidence that the valve is clean. We would highly recommend you visit the FAQ’s and videos to help you care for your cups.

Please also be aware the reported problems only relate to the one-piece valve on the Sippee range of cups, and do not affect any other Tommee Tippee product.
