I don’t know about you, but travelling and getting around with kids is HARD!! I didn’t realize just how much ‘junk’ a baby/toddler/child needs to bring with them, or have brought along for them, even just to go to the store or visit a friend down the street. That’s not even thinking about those times you travel for vacation and the holidays.
I use the term ‘junk’ jokingly because I know that our kids really do need those diapers, toys, a change of clothes, etc to make any trip outside of the home successful. There is nothing I do not like about the Quinny Yezz! After taking it out of the box there was limited assembly required other then attaching the seat cover. I will admit that the first time or two I tried to get the stroller folded back down again I had some issues, but this was entirely operator error – I was too stubborn to just read the directions. Jeanna came along and had it folded up in no time at all and we were on our way again – well after Jeanna was done laughing at me that is!
The Quinny Yezz is designed to be an easy to use, on the go stroller. Our very first outing where we used our stroller was an expo, a very full expo. The Yezz was easy to navigate around everyone and when Gradie had enough of riding it was folded up and I wore it slung over my shoulder. Gone are the days of trying to find somewhere to park your stroller when it’s not needed, or having to push it around while chasing your very excited toddler around. Weighing in at 5kg (around 11 pounds) carrying it around is no big deal.
Of course – at this weight, getting it into and out of your vehicle is also a breeze and it takes up a fraction of the space other strollers we have tried out – it actually takes up the least amount of space of a stroller I’ve seen before!
Gradie absolutely loves riding in the Yezz – this is definitely the stroller that she has been willing to stay in for the longest period of time, before wanting to go explore, as any toddler does. I am sure that the comfortable hammock-like seat plays a roll in this, she is just so comfortable she doesn’t want to get out. She has also taken a couple naps in it and those have worked out well too.
I think the smooth ride that the Yezz will give your child definitely plays a role in how comfortable they are in it. With skate wheels you are able to push this stroller with one finger – I’m serious, I tried it and it is without a doubt the smoothest ride your kids will have in a stroller.
The Quinny Yezz is for use from roughly 5 pounds through 40 pounds – so it’ll last a while, I know Gradie is no where near 40 pounds at 2 years old. With the easily interchangeable seat covers you are able to ‘change’ the stroller as you like. You can also purchase a weather cover to keep your little one covered from the elements, we’ve added this to Gradie’s Christmas wish list as we’ll definitely be getting one!
