Experiencing the Red Carpet for The Good Dinosaur Premiere!! #GoodDinoEvent

November 19, 2015 By Africa

I attended this all expense paid press event on behalf of Disney. All opinions are completely my own.

On Tuesday I got to attend the red carpet premiere of DISNEY•PIXAR’s The Good Dinosaur at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.  This was a dream come true and I am so excited to share my experience with you.

After a very busy day of set visits and celebrity interviews we got back to the hotel to get ready for our walk down the red carpet.  If you know me you’d know that I am not a huge fan of getting ‘dressed up’ but that’s a requirement when you’re about to walk down the red carpet alongside celebrities, sports stars, etc. and it was fun to do it, this one time!  Here’s a picture of myself right before we left for the red carpet.

My Experience on the Red Carpet for The Good Dinosaur Premiere!!

On our way to the red carpet we stopped to take a photo on the Oscars stairs, the stairs that lead up to the Dolby Theater, where the Oscars are held.  Yet another once in a life time experience (this trip was packed full  of them).

Then we made our way down to the El Capitan Theater.  I’ve never done this before, the experience was truly out of this world.  I got to see the press outlets that interview all the stars, like the interviews I watch on TV, but this time I was right there!!  Seeing people standing behind the barricades trying to get autographs of the stars, it was all so surreal.  I want to share with you a collection of my personal pictures as well as those released by Disney of the stars on the red carpet – which I will tell you was actually green to match the movie The Good Dinosaur.

I had a chance to stand at this backdrop too, maybe one day I’ll be a star 😉

After the movie screening we got to attend the Premiere Party at the OHM Nightclub.  I felt so important as I followed the ushers who were directing those with wrist bands to the party.  We were greeted with a fun scene, full of Good Dinosaur decorations, food themed to the movie, great music and a bunch of fun Good Dinosaur activities.

Walking the red carpet for this premiere is an experience I’ll never forget, I hope you enjoyed this recap.  Be sure to stay tuned for more from this amazing trip.

Remember –

The Good Dinosaur is in theaters November 25!

A snippet about this wonderful movie:

“The Good Dinosaur” asks the question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct?  Pixar Animation Studios takes you on an epic journey into the world of dinosaurs where an Apatosaurus named Arlo (voice of Raymond Ochoa) makes an unlikely human friend. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of. Directed by Peter Sohn and produced by Denise Ream (“Cars 2”), Disney•Pixar’s “The Good Dinosaur” opens in theaters on Nov. 25, 2015.
