I’ll be the first to tell you I am not a very experienced individual in the kitchen – to be honest, I can use all the help I can get. When I was given the opportunity to work with KitchenIQ by hosting a fun in home party to introduce my friends to their brand I thought this would be a great experience. I get to hang out with my close friends and family and we get to play with kitchen gadgets that can make our lives easier – WIN, WIN!
KitchenIQ is a brand under Smith’s Consumer Products, Inc. which has been around since 1886. KitchenIQ carries an array of products aimed to make our lives in the kitchen more efficient and easier. This was my first interaction with this brand and I am so excited to share it with you.
I received three KitchenIQ products to demonstrate to my guests;
I have to say that our little gathering was a great success and my guests most liked the The Edge Grip Knife Sharpener. There is nothing more annoying then trying to cut up the ingredients for your meal and your knife is blunt. At our house we had plenty of knives to use as test subjects for The Edge Grip Knife Sharpener and all of them ended up sharp, maybe sharper then they were to start out with.
This sharpener has two stages of sharpening in one, really compact, unit. The coarse sharpening slot has carbide blades that quickly sharpens dull knives and the fine slot has ceramic rods which are perfect for finishing and polishing the edge or for touch ups on knives that are already sharp.

The Better Zester is another fantastic tool from KitchenIQ. I mastered the zester in no time and trust me, if I can do it you can too! This zester is great with all citruses, as you can see below, we had a blast giving our Better Zester’s a thorough work out.
The Better Zester has a non-stick coating that makes zesting things easy and clean up is a breeze. You can see in the pictures I’ve shared the Better Zester has a ‘Fresh Zest’ container which allows you to measure how much you have ‘zested’ and as well as hold everything in one place until you need it.

The last product we tested out was The Potato Tool. One of my least favorite jobs in the kitchen is peeling potatoes, that is until I used this Potato Tool – it really makes peeling potatoes easy. I am not sure why it took me this long to find this product.
