This is a sponsored post. I support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation on behalf of Healthy Ones. All opinions are my own.
In today’s day and age most people have been impacted by cancer in some way. For me cancer has touched close to home, way too close to home. I’ve lost friends and family to this horrible disease. My brother fought and BEAT cancer three times. He is a fighter and a winner – my hero!
My aunt fought and won her fight against breast cancer a few years ago. Unfortunately, she has since passed away due to unrelated causes, but I will never forget the time she had to have a breast removed and the treatment she endured and the toll it took on her.
These are reasons why cancer research is so important to me. I think CANCER SUCKS as I am sure everyone else does too, we need to fund research to make it that none of us will have to endure these horrible times in our lives, that we won’t lose anyone else that we love to this dreaded disease!!
As I am sure you know – October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! There are many companies and organizations that are vying for your attention, time and $$ this month – but I wanted to bring one of them to your attention. That is Healthy Ones and their work with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).
Healthy Ones has partnered with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) for the last 3 years in an effort to raise awareness and funds to support breast cancer research. In this time frame they have donated $170,000 to the BCRF.
Right now – you can help them give even more to the BCRF!! Healthy Ones is donating a portion of October sales to the BCRF – For every 1 pound of Healthy Ones deli meat sold, $0.05 will be donated (up to $50,000).
Now as I am sure you are aware, October is almost over, so head to the store TODAY and pick up Healthy Ones deli meat to help them reach their goal of $50,000 to be donated to the BCRF.
Of course you can also donate directly to the BCRF by clicking HERE. While you’re online also make sure to follow Healthy Ones on Facebook – to be kept up to date on all the great things this company is doing!!
