How my dogs saved my life!!

I’ve blogged about my two miniature pinschers many times over the years.  I’ve had both Tanner and Logan since they were puppies, they’re now 10 and 11 years old, respectively, and still very much a part of the family.

Sure they might drive me crazy sometimes, as small dogs often will, but there isn’t a thing I’d change about them.  I especially love the bond that Gradie has fostered with them in the past two years.

For me – Tanner and Logan are more than just dogs.  They are truly my lifesavers.  You see, I moved far from home, very, very far and I left all I know behind me, including all my family.  A few years back, when I was going through a dark stage in my life, dealing with relationship issues, and feeling particularly down and completely alone, these two little dogs were there for me.

I’ll never know if they truly know what all they’ve done for me, how much they’ve been there for me, just by been there.  By coming up and giving me a little lick on the cheek when I cried and by ‘cuddling’ me as I cried myself to sleep.  I can honestly say I am not sure where I’d be without these two, I prefer to not think about that!!

That is why I always do everything in my power to do right by them.  We’ve been through some rough health patches with both dogs as they’ve aged, but we’ve fought through, got them the help they needed as they helped me when I so badly needed it.

As Tanner and Logan have aged their dietary needs changed and their teeth are starting to wear down, that is why I love picking up the PEDIGREE® DENTASTIX® at Sam’s Club to help keep their teeth clean and their gums happy!   PEDIGREE® DENTASTIX® are probably their favorite treat – they get so excited when I grab the bag to give them one.

#PedigreeGives #CollectiveBias

As you can see PEDIGREE® products are easy to find in your local Sam’s Club and I am excited to tell you that during October PEDIGREE® brand will donate a bowl of food to a dog in need for every PEDIGREE® product that is purchased at Sam’s Club.  How neat is that – you can take great care of your dogs by buying them PEDIGREE® products at Sam’s Club – like the PEDIGREE® Adult Dry Dog Food – and in turn you’ll be helping a dog in need!

PLUS – you can upload a photo of the dog you love to Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #LaterShelter for a chance to be featured on SamsClub.com. The PEDIGREE® brand will donate a bowl of food for every upload.

I can’t believe I got her to stand still long enough for this photo – she just wanted to get into the box of DENTASTIX®!!

To stay up to date on all goings on over at Sam’s Club be sure to follow them on Twitter.

Comment below and tell me how you got your dogs?!  Were they puppies from breeders or a rescue dog? I’d love to hear your story!

We had to put down our dog, Jasper October 17, 2015 after 16 1/2 tears of LOYAL companionship & love! 🙁
We fed him Pedigree most of his adult life, so I know this dog food is good for them!!

My dog was a rescue from BARK and she is a good girl. She was around 1 when we got her. She likes to walk and to play with Little Bit, who is one our kitties. My cat, Durn is very loyal and has lasted longer than most relationships I have ever had. I still have him and he is a good boy. My other cat, Kimmie is a lover and she sleeps beside me every night. My bunny is a Netherland Dwarf and her name is Spaz.

Dogs are the best. I recently lost my dog, and I miss him each moment of each day. He was truly a friend. Even through ugly days, and the best of days, he was with me and always offered comfort, love and friendship.
