Levana Keera™ PTZ Baby Video Monitor
(2 Camera Set)
Ever wanted to have eyes ‘in the back of your head’ – when it comes to your kids? Now you can with the Levana Keera. Except the ‘eyes’ will be on the baby monitor and you’ll be tracking the activities of your kids.
You know those moments when your little one is just a little too quiet, while it is peaceful and relaxing, the sudden realization that you haven’t heard from them in five minutes almost always results in a world record breaking sprint to find them, usually up to no good……now you can use the Levana Keera, which is expandable up to 4 cameras, to keep an eye on your little ones, while they play and while they sleep. You can also talk through the monitor to let them know you’re seeing what they’re doing. Imagine their shock and surprise when they hear mom’s voice come through the monitor telling them to knock it off!!
Hands down my favorite feature of this baby video monitor is the ability to tilt, pan and zoom in. With my old baby monitor – once Gradie was out of camera shot I was out of luck at enjoying those few minutes on the couch (we don’t get enough of those do we?!) and I had to get up to go check on her. Now I can tilt and pan the camera from the monitor’s controls and she has no idea I’m still keeping an eye on her.
Gradie is now 2 (and a bit) but we still use the monitor to keep an eye on her when she’s asleep at night. I like that I can check in on her if she’s tossing and turning to see if she’s really awake or just fussing. What I wish we had when she was an infant is the zoom capability. I don’t know if it was just us, but as new moms we were a little neurotic making sure she was still breathing – with the zoom you can easily see her little body breathing in and out.
Another great feature of the Keera is that you can record your little one, download it to your personal computer and share with family and friends. I like this because Gradie has started singing, all the time singing and I just can’t get enough, now I can record it without disrupting her, and sticking a camera in her face, as she jams to the sweet lyrics of twinkle, twinkle little star or the wheels on the bus. You can also take photos – all of which are stored on the included 2GB memory card.
The icons in the menu are easy to understand and I browsed them all before reading the instructions fully – I’m a hands on learner – and I had no trouble understanding what all could be done with the Keera. The side panel has touch buttons to initiate the pan and tilt, to bring you to the home/menu screen and to talk to your little one.
There is a Smart LED Indicator Ring around the arrow buttons (see above) which changes color with the sound of your baby’s voice so you can tell how loud baby is crying even if your monitor is on mute. Adjust the sensitivity to suit your needs.
- Pink – Disconnected
- Blue – Low volume/Whispers
- Green – Low-Medium volume/Murmurs
- Yellow – Medium volume/Cooing
- Orange – Medium-High volume/Chatter
- Red – High volume/Yelling
We’ve been using our Levana Keera for a couple weeks now and so far the battery life has been great. It has lasted through the night, when I forgot to plug it in, and had battery life to spare. Which is a lot more than my old baby monitor could do.
You can pick up the Levana Keera with 1 camera for $189.99 or with 2 cameras for $219.99. You can also check out Levana on Amazon.com. I am sure they have a monitor to meet your family’s needs.
As always – I recommend you follow Levana via their social media channels to be kept up to date on all product developments, promotions, etc.

This monitor sounds to good to be true. Thanks for sharing this information. I will definitely show this to my daughter as she always worries about her little one once she’s in her crib, as she cannot see well enough with the monitor she has.

This is fantastic! I wish they would have had these around when my daughters were babies.
