Teriyaki Tofu Stir-Fry #Recipe

September 6, 2015 By Africa

Teriyaki Tofu Stir-Fry with Nasoya Tofu Recipe

I’m not sure if you’re like me, but before trying out Nasoya Tofu I was under the impression all tofu was weird and just not for me. I’ll admit though this was an assumption made on trying tofu only a couple times, so when I was approached to work with Nasoya I decided to give tofu one more try!

I am extremely happy to say that this attempt was a huge success. I had some friends over and we whipped up an extremely easy to make Nasoya Teriyaki Tofu Stir-Fry full of delicious fresh vegetables. I am excited to share the recipe that we tried, personalized with our tweaks, so that you can make this meal for your family too. It was a huge success at our home, even Gradie was a fan, I am sure your family will love it too.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons canola oil
1 red bell pepper, cored, seeded, and julienned
1 yellow bell pepper, cored, seeded, and julienned
1/2 cup sliced red onion
1 cup small broccoli florets
1 cup half-moon sliced yellow squash
2 packages of Nasoya Teriyaki TofuBaked
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
2 cups sliced bok choy
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 cup snow peas
2 tablespoons sesame oil

Preparation:

Prepare and cut all the vegetables
Prepare and measure ingredients

Stir-Fry:

Heat canola oil over high heat until almost smoking.
Add the peppers and onion while stirring constantly.
Continue to stir and add the squash, broccoli, Nasoya Teriyaki tofu, garlic, and teriyaki sauce.
Cook, stirring, constantly for about 2 minutes.
Add the bok choy, sprouts, pepper, and salt.
Cook, stirring, until crisp/tender (roughly 2 minutes more).
Stir in snow peas and sesame oil and remove from heat.
Serve over rice or lo mein noodles

For maximum enjoyment make sure to serve right after cooking. The whole family will love it, and I bet they’ll be back asking for seconds.

I like stir fry, tofu, no. The recipe sounds good. I’d just use chicken instead. It’s low fat and I am a meat eater.
