Did you know that September is Baby Month? Well – it is! 🙂 To celebrate Baby Month I am excited to tell you my Top 5 reasons I believe you should shop for everything BABY at Sam’s Club!!
1 – Large Quantities {of Diapers & Wipes}
Babies use a lot of stuff, they’re so small and yet they’re able to use so much stuff. Stuff like diapers and wipes!! It’s a good thing Sam’s Club has both, a LOT of both. Gradie wasn’t even sure what to do with all these boxes of Pampers so she decided she’d just take a break and sit down. If you head down to your local Sam’s Club by September 20th you can save $6 instantly on boxes of Pampers – what a great way to help celebrate Baby Month & Save some $$!
Apparently Gradie needed a bit more of a break so I headed down the aisle a bit to the Pampers Wipes. We have used Pampers sensitive wipes for Gradie for the past few months and when I can find them a couple dollars cheaper than most every other place I can buy them I grab them. Besides for baby’s using a lot of stuff they’re also really dirty, that is why we go through a LOT of wipes, they’re used to clean faces, and sticky hands and the occasional spill.
2 – Bulk Sized Detergents
Remember I said that babies are dirty – this brings me to number two on my list; Large quantities of detergent. At Sam’s Club we’re able to pick up a large 170oz container of Dreft HE Liquid Laundry Detergent, that’s enough for 110 loads of laundry. Which in toddler terms really isn’t that much, but it is more than you can purchase at most retail locations. We also pick up the detergent we use while we’re at Sam’s Club.
3 – Large Selection of Books
Books, books and more books. I cannot tell you how much Gradie loves books and how much we love reading books to Gradie. We have a lot of books at our home, but there is never enough, and we love to get new books for her to enjoy. Hence number three on my list is being able to pick up a book at a reasonable price. Babies need discovery in their life and books provide so much, helping them develop and grow.
How does it get any better than this? Gradie loves reading and we love that she’ll do it in the cart and we can carry on shopping. Really the only problem here is WHICH book do you pick?
(OF COURSE, we do not leave her unattended EVER, one of us are always next to the cart to avoid any accidents).
4 – Reasonably Priced Baby/Toddler Clothing
There is a lot of clothing at Sam’s Club. On every visit I check out what items they have. We have picked up a lot of items for ourselves, and definitely lots for Gradie because the prices are so reasonable. On this shopping trip we were able to pick up an extremely cute 3 piece outfit. A pink jacket, grey leggings and a cute matching onesie, perfect for the cooler fall temperatures coming our way. The MSRP on the price tag was listed as $32 but we were able to pick it up for just $11.57!!
As you can see we need to allow for a little extra time if we allow Gradie to do her own shopping!
5 – Fresh Produce
Fresh produce as far as the eye can see…… Ok that might be a bit of an exaggeration, but we are never disappointed when we head over to Sam’s Club to pick up our fresh produce. We especially love that they have a wide variety of fruits. Here in Minnesota we don’t get fresh produce easily, especially during our long winter months, so we love to go to Sam’s Club and pick up many different kinds of fresh fruit and vegetables.
Now I have shared my 5 reasons I believe you should shop for everything BABY (and you) at Sam’s Club. Why don’t you comment below and tell me what your favorite items to buy at Sam’s Club are?
I think a lot of people have the misconception that if you’re not buying for a large family or an event that shopping at the bulk buy stores are a waste, but we are a family of 3, well like 2.5, and we love to stock up on things at Sam’s Club. It just makes sense to buy some items in bulk, and you SAVE!!
Now get going to head to your local Sam’s Club to stock up on everything baby! Find your nearest location by clicking HERE. Also make sure you are following them on their social media outlets.

I’m a Costco member and my Costco only carries Huggies products. Pampers works best for us so I may need to rethink my Costco membership.

I love shopping at Sam’s Club for my big family. I am careful of some of their prices though because I can sometimes get it cheaper elsewhere. I love getting our meats there also. Thank you so much for sharing

When my daughter was a baby I often bought a lot of her outfits and diapers from Sam’s Club, wish I would have done the same when my boys were babies. Great deals!

Warehouse type stores are great when you have a family to shop for. They really do save money. The only downside, is that you have to be a member and pay a fee.
