“Driver Watchdog provides that added peace of mind when my child is away! We created Driver Watchdog to save lives. ~ Christian Johnson, President, Driver Watchdog.
Many people are aware that texting while driving is a problem. Statistics record that in 2011, 23% of all auto accidents involved a driver using a cell phone. Statistics, however, are just numbers until they are translated to a something more easily understood, such as for example, translating that the 23% is equal to 1.3 million car accidents. And texting while driving is fatal, according to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety Fatality Facts, resulting in 20 teen deaths EVERY DAY and 330,000 injuries annually.
In response to the 20 teenagers that die every day in fatal car crashes due to distracted driving, single mom Christian Johnson, President of Driver Watchdog is excited to announce the launch of Driver Watchdog (www.mydriverwatchdog.com), an innovative new technology that helps promote a safe and secure environment to drivers and their loved ones.
The Driver Watchdog is a plug and play unit that is a real time vehicle security and monitoring device. It is used to promote the responsible driving habits of new drivers as well as ensure the safety of all age drivers. The device is a single unit with 2 cameras to monitor driver behavior inside and outside the vehicle and then providing this real time vehicle information to a secured mobile application. With cloud backup, footage and trip statistics can be saved and made available for review at any time.
