Bonsai Kids Hair Care Products Review & Prize Pack Giveaway!! (ends 5/25)

May 18, 2015 By Africa

Review disclosure

I’m not sure if you’ve seen this or not but Gradie has a LOT of hair!!  I mean it, she was born with a lot and she never lost it, it just kept growing and growing.  Just take a look at this picture I took yesterday, look how long her little pigtails are.  Naturally, when I was approached by Bonsai Kids Hair Care to review their kids hair care line I was more then happy to.

Bonsai Kids Hair Care Products - Gradie pigtails

We were lucky enough to recieve their Fruit Power Shampoo, Fruit Power Conditioner, Leave in Action Detangler and Power Hair Gel.  We got to using them and have been using them for a couple weeks now and we are more than happy with them.  I absolutely love the smell – what’s not to love with extracts of blueberry, raspberry, cranberry and blackberry – YUMMY, I almost want to eat it 😉

Bonsai Kids Hair Care Products for Kids - Review & Giveaway

My favorite of the four products is the leave in action detangler.  Like I said, Gradie has a lot of hair, she’s also a very, very busy toddler, she doesn’t stop, and her hair sometimes get in her mouth when she’s eating, or it’s blowing in the wind as she’s running around, or it’s getting all tangled up when she’s rolling around playing.  All of these activities leave her hair knotted and tangled up – a lot!!  Toddlers aren’t really big on sitting around while someone tries to pry knots and tangles from their hair, and Gradie is very vocal in her displeasure.  However, I no longer have to tackle her and hold her down to get it brushed out 🙂  I simply use Bonsai Kids leave in action detangler after her bath, in the morning before she gets going, and/or directly on any tangles that are proving challenging to get combed out.  We absolutely love it – I say WE becuase I know she’s happier too.

Calling out my favorite as the detangler does not take anything away from the remaining products.  Gradie doesn’t have a lot of use for the gel at this point, so Jeanna has been using it and she really likes it.  It doesn’t leave the white reside in your hair that some gel does and overall it does a great job of keeping her hair in place.  The shampoo and conditioner are great too and I love that a kids line of hair care products has as seperate conditioner, not a combined two in one.  This is ideal for kids, like Gradie, who even though she’s only 22 months old, has a full head of hair that needs taking care of and for the most part a two in one just doesn’t cut it.

The Bonsai Kids line of kids hair care products don’t contain any harmful yucky stuff – they’re safe for your kids to use and I must say they are definitely Gradie approved 🙂 .  You can click HERE to order your Bonsai Kids line of hair care products, for just $12.95 each, and of course you can order on Amazon.com – it is eligible for FREE shipping if you have Amazon Prime.  While you’re online shopping I encourage you to head over to Bonsai Kids social media pages and follow along, that way you won’t miss out on any news from this great company.
