What a wonderful concept – felt play food from Noshkins!!

Gradie is at the stage where she LOVES playing ‘make believe’.  She has such an amazing imagination and I absolutely love watching her play.  She talks and talks, plays and plays – it truly is amazing to just observe her as she takes in this big world that is all around her.  Since we received our Noshkins items she has really enjoyed playing meal time.  We’ve all been lucky enough to enjoy her play food – and as you’ll see in the pictures below she really gets into ‘eating’ her food.

Noshkins were created by a graphic designer grandmother who saw a need for felt play food items as she knew that wood and plastic can cause injury and damage when thrown.  If your toddlers are anything like mine they love to throw things, anything, so I agree – felt play items are an excellent alternative.

Noshkins come in individual pieces, such as a pancake, carrot, banana, etc. for $5 each.   They also come in multiple play sets which range in price from $15 to $45 per set, depending on the size of the set.  Head over to their website and check out which set your little ones would love.  Gradie received the snack set and a few other pieces, shown in the pictures in this post.  She really does love her Noshkins and loves to ‘eat’ them as well as to feed them to her mom’s, her doll’s, the puppies, whoever she can get to play along with her 🙂 .  Don’t worry if they get ‘icky’ from everyone eating them you can easily hand wash them, and we have done so a few times already, they hold up great and are ready to go again for the next meal, in no time!!
