Here’s my bladder leakage story – what’s YOURS?

I had a little girl in July of 2013 – what a blessing she was and continues to be every single day!!  She is my most prized accomplishment in life.  However, pregnancy was rough on my body – I have undergone hernia repair surgery since her birth as well as the unfortunately now suffering from light bladder leakage.  Yes you read that right, at the age of 30’ish – I have problems with bladder leakage – oh the woes.

At first I was horrified, I mean, this happens to OLD people right?  I am not old, I am not as young as I used to be, but I am NOT old!!  As with most things that I just don’t understand I decided to do some research.  These are just some of the facts I stubmled upon

• More people with bladder leakage are in their 20’s than their 80’s
• The average age of someone with bladder leakage is only 52!
• More people with bladder leakage are 50 or younger than 60 or older!
