I try to make extra food–soups, baked goods and any other food that I make that people like. I will make extra and take some to them. I help people out that may not have much even though I don’t have much. God has always provided for me and I have never been without something I really need. So I like to give and help people. I help family and friends.. and sometimes strangers when I can. I don’t believe you are not suppose to talk about “pay it forward/ kind acts.” I think its meant to be purely from the heart and kept between you, the person(s) you help and the Good Lord above.. Food banks are in such need of so help lately, we try to donate to area food banks as much as possible. Also when I get a free coupon for an item, I will take and place it on the item it is for at various stores. I try to always put myself in other’s shoes and do my best to help out when they’re facing a difficult situation, whether it’s something as small as letting someone merge in front of me in traffic or holding the door for someone approaching, to stopping to help someone whose car has broken down or avoiding the temptation to make excuses when friends need help moving or need a ride to the airport. I always stop to remind myself how grateful I’d be for the help and that makes stepping in a no-brainer.
