When I was 15 I was obsessed with Tupac. My mom gave me a cd of his for Christmas of some of his music that I hadn’t heard yet. A few days after Christmas my mom had a brain aneurysm burst, my cousin picked me up and on the way to the hospital I heard Tupac’s song Baby Don’t Cry for the very first time which ironically was on the cd that my mom had just given me but I just hadn’t had a chance to listen to it yet. My mom passed away on January 2nd 2000 and even though I love the song, to this day I still can’t listen to it without crying.
