Disclosure: I received a pair of Babiators Sunglasses, in order to facilitate my review. All opinions are my own and honest. I am disclosing this in accordance to FTC Guidelines.
Have you heard of Babiators? I had when I was researching sunglasses for Gradie for our recent trip to South Africa. Then I was lucky enough to be approached by Babiators to have Gradie review a pair of their fantastic sunglasses, I obviously said YES!!!
Babiators was created in 2011 and has come a long way in a short period of time, so much so that Forbes Magazine recently named Babiators one of America’s 100 Most Promising Companies of 2014, that is a pretty amazing accomplishment for such a new company, and speaks to the quality of their products.
Babiators make durable, safe, and simply fantastic items for babies and children. These products include Babiators signature aviator sunglasses, Polarized Babiators (which we received, see more below), Submariners swimming goggles, Rx prescription glass frames and a line of super cute backpacks.
POLARIZED BABIATORS SUNGLASSES
As I mentioned, we were lucky enough to receive a pair of polarized Babiators. I picked out the “Rad Rainbow” color for Gradie.
What impressed me right from the get go is the awesome ‘cloud case’ these sunglasses arrive in. The case has a nifty little clip on it, which I use to clip the glasses to Gradie’s diaper bag – that way we never forget to bring them with us. The sun’s rays are harsh, in the summer and winter, and that is why I so badly wanted a high quality pair of sunglasses for Gradie.
I am happy to report that I found the high quality sunglasses I was searching for in the Polarized Babiators sunglasses we received. As with the original Babiators glasses, the polarized sunglasses are extremely durable and safe with their impact and shatter resistant lenses and of course a 100% UV protection.
Polarized Babiators sunglasses are available in two sizes: Junior, which fits most babies and toddlers ages 6 months-3 years, and Classic, which fits most kids ages 3-7+ years. We received the junior size, and we had cousin Elliot try them on too (she’s 3 and a bit) and they fit her great too. Just look at Gradie rocking out her sunglasses in the picture below (forgive me that it is a bit blurry, but trying to keep a 16 month old still for any period of time is extremely challenging!).

Some eye disorders are caused from the wind and sun my husband has one so it is important to wear them when you’re outdoors too.
