    This might be weird, but my favorite thing to heat in the microwave is water. Now let me explain, I use it for hot cocoa, coffee, oatmeal, ramen on occasion, and tea. I heat water in the microwave at least once a day. Much quicker than the stovetop, and it really does taste the sam, which can’t be said about everything heated this way verses other ways.

    I use it to do my baked potatoes. It only takes 6 minutes to cook a huge one. It takes almost an hour in the oven.

    Hot Pockets. A lot of frozen foods need to be cooked in the oven to taste right, but Hot Pockets are great straight out of the microwave and ready in 2 minutes.

    I primarily use the microwave oven to reheat leftovers for breakfast or lunch the next day. My son loves microwave popcorn and that is what he mostly uses it for. My fiance mostly reheats leftovers, but she likes to make s’mores sometimes and makes Sparkie (our Shih Tzu) his own little s’more without the chocolate.

    Those Hormel Compleat meals that take 60 seconds in a 1000 watt microwave. No refrigeration…great thing to stock up on in Florida for hurricane season. Then you just eat them and refresh the stockpile.
