Disclosure: I received the Galt Toys referenced below, in order to facilitate my review. All opinions are my own and honest. I am disclosing this in accordance to FTC Guidelines.
Have you ever heard about Galt & Company? Me either. Galt Toys is an English company established for over 175 years. Galt is making its way across the pond to the United States with quality toys which meet the needs of all stages of child development from 0-10 years. Galt products are designed to be fun and to encourage learning through play. Traditionally, the company is associated with art, craft and activity products. In more recent years Galt has established a name for itself in the First Years category with the innovative Playnest.
The Playnest is a unique combination of a soft resting area and a self-contained play environment for babies and toddlers. A triangular fabric covered inflatable ring provides additional sideways support for baby during rest and play. Surrounding the playnest there are 9 multi-sensory features to stimulate touch, vision and hearing. Playnest is also an excellent place for baby to sit while playing with other toys, just take a look at the YouTube video below.
Galt Toys is also making its mission to teach and remind families what it means to play, the benefits of doing so, and the joy behind it. Galt recently launched The Galt Toys Dr. Miriam Collection, a collection of 21 wooden, plastic and soft toys. Each one is designed to offer a host of engaging features for little hands and minds to explore with mom and comes complete with helpful ‘play guides’ developed by Dr. Miriam Stoppard a parenting guru in the UK.
Gradie was lucky enough to receive the Dr. Miriam’s Activity Centre, Soft Ball, Shape Sorter and First Farmyard Puzzle. She is a bit young now to get the puzzle but she loves playing with the pieces, and works on her hand – eye coordination as she grabs the pieces by their little handles. She also absolutely loves playing with her Activity Center, Shape Sorter, and Soft Ball. The Activity Centre has several different buttons, pulls, spinning toys and noises Gradie plays with. She copies Mama Jeanna as she learns which toy makes which noise. Gradie’s moms also love that these toys require NO batteries!! We have almost had to take a 2nd mortgage on our house to pay for batteries, so we’re ecstatic that, for once, her toys require no batteries.
Gradie has so much fun playing with all her new toys. We were also really lucky to receive a last minute surprise, before publishing this review. The High Chair Rattle wasn’t originally available in the USA, but it is now 🙂 Look at Gradie have a great time with it below.
Galt also has several other collections for all ages including Active Play & Construction, Creative Arts & crafts Cases, Activity Books, Science & Discovery games and 2 unique collections just for you girls: B Glam and Girl Club, Gradie is set for at least 10 years on toys and activities! Head over to their website and you’ll see all they have to offer, you won’t be disappointed.
I can’t wait for Galt Toys to be readily available in the United States at a toy store near you, but in the interim you can order these amazing toys over on Amazon, I highly recommend you go check them out, they’re great and so reasonably priced.
Visit Galt Toys on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter to keep track of where they are arriving in the United States toy stores near you. If you can’t wait for them to come to you, try your luck at entering for your chance to WIN the Shape Sorter and Soft Ball Toys from Galt, just enter via the Rafflecoptor below.
