NumNum Dips ~ the revolutionary new first step to self-feeding – Review & Giveaway!! (ends 6/4)

May 28, 2014 By Africa

Disclosure: I received a set of NumNum Dips for free, in order to facilitate my review. All opinions are my own and honest. I am disclosing this in accordance to FTC Guidelines.

I don’t know about you, but I am glad I am not a clean freak, I mean, I do keep my house clean, but it’s not spotless and having an infant who is attempting to learn how to feed themselves sure doesn’t help my quest to keep it clean.  While it is really cute watching Gradie attempting to figure out how to use a spoon, it can also be hard watching her frustration in attempting to get it into her mouth with anything still left in the spoon for her to eat.   That is until I found out about NumNum Dips!!

Introducing NumNum™ Dips, the revolutionary new first step to self-feeding!

numnum logo

What’s different about the NumNum Dips I hear you asking, don’t worry I wondered that at first too.  Until I received them and Gradie took right to it.  You see, there is no right or wrong way to hold the NumNum Dips, genius right?!!!  An infant doesn’t understand why if you hold a spoon upside down their food falls out of it, when I try explain it to Gradie she looks at me like I am losing my mind 🙂

Gradie is able to hold her NumNum Dips anyway she likes, just take a look at the pictures below of her in action; note, there is no bowl on her tray, it’s in my hand as she hasn’t yet mastered the art of not knocking/throwing it off the tray, but she is great at dipping her NumNum into the bowl and then enjoying her yogurt, like a big girl!!

NumNum Dips

Take a look at the easy to understand graphic below, explaining exactly how to use the NumNum Dips;

NumNum Dips how it works

The blue NumNum is designed for first foods, easily dip them into the more pureed kind of foods and then they easily put them into their mouths, as Gradie did above, with her yogurt.  Then teh orange NumNum is great for thicker foods. Just this weekend Gradie used her orange NumNum with some pieces of chicken, pushing the NumNum onto her chicken, and getting them into her mouth, she does better with this then she does with attempting to pick up the pieces, with her fingers, and get them into her mouth.

As an added benefit, the NumNum Dips double as great teething toys.  Gradie loves chewing on her NumNums as she is in the process of getting a few teeth, I give her the NumNum to chew on when she is playing in her play yard, she really loves them.

I am sure I have you convinced you NEED these for your baby, and you can head over to NumNum Dips website to locate a retailer near you by clicking here.  You can also buy NumNum Dips for the ‘little’ in your life by ordering them directly on the NumNum Dips website for only $9.99 per set.  Don’t just take my word for it, look at Gradie, trying to share her NumNum Dip with you, she is a huge fan, and wants all other babies out there trying to learn how to feed themselves to have their very own NumNum Dips!!

    I love how they give their little one credit for doing the “dirty work”! What’s great about these utensils is they are designed by real people feeding a child. I look at some children’s products and wonder if the designers have ever met a child. This looks so cool! Can’t wait to try them once we start solids!
