Staples – That Was EASY!!
I love organizing! I realize that makes me a bit crazy in some eyes but it is so nice when you want or need something you haven’t used in months and know exactly where it is going to be!
The challenge came when Ms. G arrived. Jeanna and I had no idea how much stuff a baby, an infant and soon a little moving toddler could have and continue to collect form all the friends and family 
We had the nursery all set and ready for her with new dresser FULL of clothes, a beautiful new closet FULL of clothes and toys and a new shelf full of books and more toys! Turns out just months into G’s short life she had outgrown her new shelf AND the bookshelf in the study (now G’s EXTRA playroom) and the living room!
Jeanna and I went searching for some new organizing styles on Pinterest (it’s our new favorite search site) anyways, she stumbled upon a few pins documenting items from Staples and noticed they were having a sale on organizing furniture… BONUS! About two hours later we had our new modular shelving unit picked out and on its way!
Looks pretty nice, wouldn’t you say? It fits (hides) most of her toys and her extra diapers which are beautiful to see on the shelves. And as she grows she will be able to choose her own books and pull off each soft tote full of fun things and with luck, put them back on the shelf A MOM CAN DREAM, RIGHT??
Confession… after Jeanna showed me the selection for G’s room I kept shopping. I couldn’t help it Staples.com has some killer sales right now. I kept clicking and clicking and I found an awesome deal on a Deck Storage box just in time for grilling season!
Since G was born in July she didn’t really spend a lot of time outside since we have winter 9 months out of the year here in Minnesota. Jeanna and I got a new patio seating set last year and are super excited to finally use this year and play with Ms. G on the deck and start teaching her what a Minnesota summer is! The deck box was super easy to piece together even G helped Mama Jeanna, look below.
The deck box has so much more storage space then I thought it would. It not only fits the pillows and chair cushions and keeps them dry, it fits some of G’s outside toys too

haha love the pic of them both in the deck storage unit. It was too cute. I agree they have such a huge variety of inventory I could shop all day at Staples. I have wanted a outdoor theater system & projector for a while now so we can make an outdoor movie theater for all our family & friends to enjoy! Growing up I used to go to the drive-in movies. Our parents would sit in the car but us kids love to spread a blanket out on the grass and watch it sitting outside. There was nothing better then watching a movie outside with your entire family and a bunch of friends eating popcorn and sucking down a soda pop. We had so much fun. I miss that and I think little “N” and “R” and “K” ages 3, 4. 5 would love it. That is why I want a an outdoor theater so we can make new memories with another generation.
