Sleeping Baby brings you
The Zipadee-Zip – A Swaddle Transition Product!!
Have you had a little one who loves being swaddled? Which then resulted in them not being able to sleep unless they were swaddled? Well I have – Gradie LOVED her swaddles, and they served us well, but now it’s time to get her out of it. She’s getting bigger, she can roll over, it is time!! Question though? HOW do you get an infant who has slept this way since birth to sleep without the secure feeling of being in their swaddle? This is where the Zipadee-Zip comes into play. Brought to us by Sleeping Baby, the Zipadee-Zip is a Swaddle Transition Product and I am happy to report that is exactly what it does. Gradie is now sleeping WITHOUT a swaddle, a couple weeks ago I never thought this was possible. How did it do this, you ask? The Zipadee-Zip provides your little one with a enclosed feeling similar to the swaddle BUT it allows for a full range of movement so your baby can push themselves up and roll over, and in Gradie’s roll again and again. Her very first nap while wearing the Zipadee-Zip I sat on the edge of my chair watching the baby monitor to see if I’d have any luck in this attempt. She rolled over, then back again. Then she half rolled and lay on her side for a while, then she was asleep for 2 full hours. I just couldn’t believe it, I honestly never thought this would happen 😉 Take a look how cute she is in her Little Luv Bug Zipadee-Zip.
A great feature of the Zipadee-Zip is that you can use it beyond transitioning out of the swaddle, with the full range of motion you can continue to use it for your little one. I like that it keeps Gradie warm during these still cold nights (so much for spring). Also it helps to keep her from scratching her face as her little hands are covered, but during these teething days and nights she is still able to chew on her hands for comfort.
The Zipadee-Zip is easy to use, not a complicated mess of snaps and clips, just lay baby in it and zip it up. I especially like that the zipper up at the neck area has a piece of fabric that covers it up to keep it from scratching. The Zipadee-Zip we received is made of a soft cotton blend therefore it is lightweight and easy to bring along while you travel. In fact, I plan on bringing ours with us on our 24 hour trip back to South Africa later this year.
To learn even more benefits of using the Zipadee-Zip I recommend you head over to their website to learn even more. While you are on their website you can pick up a Zipadee-Zip for your little one, or as a gift for someone you know who could benefit by having the Zipadee-Zip for their baby, they range in price from $34.95 to $38.95 – a small price to pay for a SLEEPING baby, and if you use the code SLEEP you can get $2 off any order. I also highly recommend you follow Zipadee-Zip on Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date on any product news and promotions – you won’t be disappointed.

I would choose the baby balooga for my son Callen. He’s been breaking out of his swaddle, scratching his face, and rolling over on his tummy. This would be awesome if it helped him sleep without the swaddle!
