Merry Christmas, Splat… and More Winter Stories
by Scholastic Storybook Treasures
I received this DVD, free of charge, to facilitate my review. Regardless, all opinions are 100% my own.
Perfect timing for this review (and giveaway!) – with just 9 shopping days left until Christmas (but who’s counting?). Scholastic Storybook Treasures has done it again – they’ve released Merry Christmas, Splat… and More Winter Stories, helping to bring to life best-selling children’s books with the aim of promoting a love of literature.
As with all of the Scholastic Storybook Treasures I’ve reviewed in the past, Merry Christmas, Splat… and More Winter Stories, has the read-along function which allows your little ones to learn while they’re entertained, that’s a win-win if you ask me
Merry Christmas, Splat… and More Winter Stories has the following stories:
- Merry Christmas, Splat: Splat is trying hard to be good before Santa’s arrival so he can get all the presents he’s dreamed of on Christmas Day!
- Fletcher and the Snowflake Christmas: It’s Christmas Eve and Fletcher wonders how Santa will find his burrow through all the snow.
- Snowflake Bentley: Willie Bentley loved and learned all about snowflakes.
- Owl Moon: A girl and her father search the moonlit woods for the Great Horned Owl in this carefully animated adaptation of a classic children’s picture book.
Merry Christmas, Splat… and More Winter Stories runs for roughly 37 minutes and is geared at kids aged 3 and up. You can purchase it from Scholastic by clicking HERE, for ONLY $14.95 – perfect to go in your little ones stocking this Christmas.
