Pampers Daylight Savings Time Sleep Tips & Pampers Giveaway
As you know we’re new to parenting. Learning lots about diapers and as of late learning about how to help little Gradie adjust to daylight savings time. Never a dull day being a mom, that’s for sure!! Luckily I recently received a package of Pampers Baby Dry diapers and an awesome new pair of pajamas for Gradie from Children’s Place.
The new Pampers Baby Dry Diapers provide you up to 12 hours of overnight protection, which we really needed!! Gradie is a very good night time sleeper, so we need a diaper that can keep her happy for the entire night. I am happy to say that we have finally found that diaper 🙂
Pampers Baby Dry diapers have 3 layers of absorbency versus only 2 in ordinary diapers. They have the wide UltraAbsorb layer that helps the Baby Dry offer outstanding leak protection and flexes to give baby a comfortable and snug fit. Pampers Baby Dry diapers are available in sizes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.
In addition to having such a fantastic diaper on little Gradie, I also worked to implement some of these sleep tips, from Kim West – “The Sleep Lady”, and author of Sleep Lady Solutions, specifically as they relate to daylight savings time and how it impacts your little ones sleep patterns.
- about a week before start putting your kids to bed 15-30 minutes earlier then usual
- Make sure they are getting good naps during the day
- If you don’t already have, consider getting some blackout curtains and use a sound machine (I LOVE Gradie’s sound machine!)
- Try to get them to go back to sleep until at least 6am
- Make sure you change your babies diaper right before bed/nap times (this one is key for us)
- Work on getting your little ones tired before bed time
- ROUTINE – Keep the bedtime routine to help establish a bedtime procedure
- IF you do have a child who is getting up before 6am, ensure you respond to early rising quickly and consistently.
